REQUESTS:
When someone phones Mary Lou or the office or any member of the prayer chain, we take the request down and phone it to Mary Lou. She starts telephoning new requests through the chain beginning at 8:45 a.m. and at 5:00 p.m. each day. If it's an urgent request needing immediate prayer she calls as soon as she receives the message. The message is passed from one caller to one or two other people through the chain of about 15 people. Requests can be confidential, with no names included, or with names and the understanding that NO ONE is to mention the request to ANYONE except God! That includes not mentioning it to the person being prayed for.

2. Email prayer requests go out to the whole SUMC EMAIL ADDRESS LIST as soon as possible after the request is received by a pastor, the church office or Jean. Anyone can request prayer by emailing (or telephoning if they don't have email).
